Frosterley – Coves Farm Circular

Walk Route: A circular walk encompassing farmsteads to the south of Frosterley.

Walks cost £1 to cover costs and mountain rescue contribution.
Difficulty: Moderate, with a steady height gain of 600 feet.
Terrain: Country paths, farm tracks, open pasture, public roads, Stiles and gates. Cows and calves were present in one field, during the recce walk. However they can be bypassed. Bearing that in mind the walk is suitable for dogs on leads. Please note, one farmyard, the route passes through, contains at least 20 working curs. They are kenneled or tied up but noisy.
Equipment for this walk: Walking boots and socks, waterproofs, small snack and drink.
Dogs: Dogs on a lead are permitted on this walk.
Accompanied children under 16 and accompanied vulnerable adults are welcome.
