Townfield to Bolts Law -Weardale Tuesday Walks

Townfield to Bolts Law  (for starting point see below)

Start time: 10.00 am

Finish:  Approx 12.30

Leaving Townfield we walk south on the road towards Ramshaw, leaving the road passing Ramshaw House and joining the Pennine journey track where we have a steady climb up to Bolts Law. Passing Bolts Law, we continue following the track over the fells until we join the road leading back to Townfield.

As easier walk can be done doing a linear walk.

Parking in Townfield Village on road side or outside village hall, DH8 9UW

Starting point: Notice Board/post box, The cottages, Townfield DH8 9UW

Public toilets:  Blanchland and Rookhope
