Stanhope to Fatherley Hill Currick

Walk Route: We ascend via Shittlehope Edge and Dry Side to Fatherley Hill Currick for panoramic views. The descent is initially over rough pathless ground then on grassy tracks down to and along the lively Shittlehope Burn including an excellent section where it goes into a gorge.

Moderate walk 5.0 miles, 850 feet of ascent.

Walks cost £1 to cover costs (mountain rescue contribution, website hosting etc)
Toilets: There are public toilets in the Dales Centre in Stanhope.
Equipment for this walk: Walking boots and socks, waterproofs, small snack and drink, walking poles or stick, hat, gloves, scarf
Accompanied children under 16 and accompanied vulnerable adults are welcome on this walk.
