Start: Meet in the car park of the Durham Dales Centre, Stanhope DL13 2FJ for a short drive to the start of the walk.
Walk: Starting and finishing along Stanhope Dene we explore Park Plantation first crossing it east to west, then following the track outside the Plantation, then crossing back west to east.
Date: Tuesday 18th May.
Start time: 10.00am Estimated finish time: 1.00pm
Moderate walk 5 miles, 725 feet of ascent.

Walks cost £1 to contribute to local mountain rescue and website costs.
Toilets: There are public toilets in the Durham Dales Centre in Stanhope.
Equipment for this walk: Walking boots and socks, waterproofs, small snack and drink, walking poles or stick, hat, scarf and gloves.
Accompanied children under 16 and accompanied vulnerable adults are welcome on this walk.
Dogs: Dogs on a short lead are welcome on this walk.
