Walk Route:  From Rookhope we follow the Boltslaw Incline on a good track then turn left to the trig point and currick at Bolts Law.Now we follow footpaths ,sometimes over rough,tussocky terrain down back into Rookhope. No stiles

Start time:   10.00am            Estimated finish time: 1.00pm

Moderate walk, 4.9 miles,  780feet of ascent.

Starting Point: Rookhope village hall car park DL13 2DA which is 150 yards further on from the Rookhope Inn if approaching from Stanhope, on the left.

Walks cost £1 to cover costs (mountain rescue contribution, website hosting etc)

Toilets:    There are public toilets between the shop and the pub in Rookhope.

Equipment for this walk:  Walking boots and socks, waterproofs, small snack and drink, walking poles or stick.

Accompanied children under 16 and accompanied vulnerable adults are welcome on this walk.

Dogs:  Dogs are permitted on this walk
