Coast to Coast:
Rookhope is a popular second night stop for those taking three days to complete the Coast To Coast. After a steep climb out of Allenheads, a 5 mile downhill run leads to the door of the Rookhope Inn. Day three then starts with the last climb of the trip, followed by about 40 miles downhill to Tynemouth or Sunderland.

The Rookhope Inn has a secure facility to store bikes overnight.
