After a steep climb out of Allenheads, a 5 mile downhill run leads to the door of the Rookhope Inn. Day three then starts with the last climb of the trip, followed by about 40 miles downhill to Tynemouth or Sunderland. The Rookhope Inn has a secure facility to store bikes overnight. |
