Examines the way in which landownership has influenced rural development in the past and can exert an influence today.  This framework is then applied to 3 case studies:  The Wimmergill Estate in Lunedale, the Lord Crewe Estate in Blanchlands and the Stanhope Estate, with a comparison of these estates to the national experience.    Download HERE
