Rookhope Circular Walk

Walk Route: This is a roller coaster walk around Rookhope on little used tracks and footpaths with a small section over rough pasture at the beginning and a short section of road walking. Historical points of interest will be illustrated with old photographs.

Starting Point: Rookhope Village Hall car park. Turn left into the car park 150 yards past the Rookhope Inn if approaching from Stanhope. Postcode: DL13 2DA

Walks cost £1 to cover expenses.
Toilets: There are public toilets opposite the shop in Rookhope.
Equipment for this walk: Walking boots and socks, waterproofs, small snack and drink, walking poles or stick, hat, scarf and gloves.
Dogs: Dogs on a short lead are permitted on this walk
Accompanied children under 16 and accompanied vulnerable adults are welcome.
